Native to the icy waters of the North Pacific, Dungeness Crab, when cooked, boasts a bright orange shell color and a tender, flaky white meat. Dungeness Crabs offer excellent value along with a distinctive sweet flavor.
Delicious in soups, sauces, appetizers and main dishes. Serve with melted butter for an elegant first course or pair with your favorite pasta and cream sauce as a delightful meal.
KEEP FROZEN UNTIL READY TO USE
Broil
Place thawed Dungeness Crab in broiler pan; brush with butter. Place pan about 4 inches from heat; broil 3 to 4 minutes. Brush with butter occasionally while broiling.
Steam
Place steam basket in large pot; fill with boiling water to depth of 3/4 inch. Place thawed Dungeness Crab in basket; reduce heat & steam, covered, about 5 minutes or until crab is heated through.
Grill or Barbecue
Place Dungeness Crab on well-oiled grill a few inches above hot coals for 5 minutes or until crab is heated through.
Cooking times and temperatures may vary substantially. Internal temperature should be at least 165°F. We strive to produce a fully “boneless” product. As with all fish, however, occasional bones may still be present.
Keep Frozen at 0 °F until ready to use
To thaw: Place Crab on a shallow pan or tray that drains easily and place this pan into a larger one to contain the drippings cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate 8-10 hours, or overnight.
